Hi there! I guess it's good to know a little bit about who is behind the camera, right? Well to start, I'm Bella - a country lovin', horse crazy, equine photographer based out of New Jersey. I graduated from Centenary University (of course - I went to school for horses). My love of horses started when I was a wee little kid- going to the local farm and feeding horses some carrots with my grandparents.

 

I've been surrounded by these giant, loving, four legged friends since I was five years-old and have loved every minute of it since.

 

I never really realized how important photos were until my mare, Emily Mae, was almost retired from her career at the age of fourteen. I was so thankful to have photographs of Emily and I in our lessons and at horse shows before she got injured. When she was in lay-up for a year, she had plenty of pampering so we had mini-photoshoots of us back then as well. Now, many years later, I am still so thankful to have so many important moments that I can look back on and remember all the great times we shared, whether they were during stressful times or our happiest. Our photographs are a constant reminder of how far we have come over the years together.

 

Photographs are a great way to capture the true love and emotion between horse & rider. There should never be a moment that is unrecognized between you and your loved one(s) & I am incredibly grateful that I have an immense amount of memorabilia with my one & only, true, heart horse. I would love to capture the same for you.
